About the house

Our house

We have renovated the house with respect for the original: thick stone walls, high ceilings, and a beautiful kitchen. It is wonderfully cool in the summer without air conditioning. Outside lies the swimming pool with a view over the hills. The place where you end the day in the evening with a glass of Barbera.

Mombaldone is one of the più belli borghi d'Italia (most beautiful villages of Italy). But the real surprise lies in the surroundings: dozens of excellent restaurants, trattorias, wine bars and markets.

Charming city Acqui Terme is a fifteen-minute drive away, wine-producing areas of Monforte d'Alba and Barolo within half an hour and Turin, Genoa, Milan and the Ligurian coast are easily accessible for a day trip.
